Shine On: Grief + Yoga Series
SHINE ON
A 4-Week Yin Yoga Series for Navigating Grief
April 30 – May 21
Thursdays | 6:00 – 7:15 PM
Grief is a natural response when life changes in ways we didn’t expect. Loss, relationship shifts, illness, or major life transitions can leave emotions that are difficult to process and often settle quietly in the body.
Shine On is a gentle 4-week series designed to create space for those emotions to be acknowledged and supported through movement, breath, and stillness.
Guided by Heather Quintal, each session will incorporate yin yoga, somatic movement, and breathwork practices to help release held tension, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with the present moment.
This series offers a supportive environment to slow down, turn inward, and develop tools that can help you navigate difficult moments both on and off the mat.
No prior yoga experience is necessary.
What to Expect
Each session will include:
• Yin yoga to release physical tension held in the body
• Gentle somatic movement to reconnect with internal sensations
• Breathwork practices to regulate the nervous system
• Quiet space for reflection and inward awareness
• Practical tools to support emotional regulation during times of grief
Sharing is always optional. This practice is personal and reflective, and participants are encouraged to move at their own pace.
Who This Series Is For
This series is open to anyone navigating grief in any form, including:
• loss of a loved one
• relationship changes or divorce
• illness or health diagnoses
• major life transitions
• anticipatory grief or uncertainty about the future
Grief is a deeply personal experience, and there is no right way or timeline for how it unfolds. This series simply offers a supportive space to move through it with greater awareness and compassion.
Space is limited to maintain a supportive and comfortable environment.
