Studio Policies

At Bind, we believe in showing up with respect, intention, and a little fire. These studio policies are here to support our shared experience and protect the time, energy, and access for all members of our community. We encourage you to read through our Terms of Service & Liability Waiver and Privacy Policy. Please take a moment to review the Studio Policies below.

FIRST TIMERS

Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here.

  • Download the Bind Yoga Collective app for a mobile experience.

  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled and meet your instructor.

  • Bring water, a small towel, and your own mat. We provide all the props you need for class (blocks, blankets, bolsters, etc.), but you’re always welcome to bring your own.

  • Don't have a mat? Premium Jade yoga mats are available to rent for $2. Mat rentals are complimentary for members.

  • Students ages 16 and older may attend classes independently. Students under 16 are welcome when accompanied by a participating parent or guardian (one parent/guardian per child). All students under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.

  • Special Population Discount: Veterans, first responders, and seniors (65+) receive 20% off drop-ins and class packs. Valid ID required. Discount does not apply to memberships or introductory offers. Please notify studio staff so we can add the discount to your account.

BOOKING & CHECK-IN

  • Book your class in advance via our website or the Bind app.

  • Check in upon arrival on your mobile app, the iPad, or with your instructor.

  • Classes are 60 minutes (SoulFire runs 75 minutes); please plan accordingly.

ARRIVAL

  • Doors open 15 minutes before class. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early.

  • Doors lock promptly at class start time. No late entries.

  • Classes are kept at a cozy 75–80 degrees — warm enough to support movement without the extremes of hot yoga.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION POLICY

We get it — life happens. That said, as our studio grows, no-shows prevent others from getting the chance to practice. These policies are designed as proactive support for our community, not penalties.No refunds on any yoga purchases, including single classes, class packs, or memberships.

  • Drop-ins expire 30 days from purchase; class packs expire 6 months from purchase. These cannot be extended or frozen.

  • Membership cancellation requires written notice to info@bindyogacollective.com 14 days prior to auto-renewal. If you have a scheduled payment within that 14-day period, the payment will be processed as scheduled.

  • Memberships may be frozen once per calendar year for 3–6 weeks. Freezes shorter than 3 weeks are not available. All freezes begin on your next billing date.

  • Late Cancel / No-Show:

    • If using a class pack or drop-in, you’ll lose the credit.

    • Members will be charged a $10 late cancellation fee.

  • All cancellations must be made through the app, website, or via email. Texts or social media DMs will not be accepted.

  • Payments and fees are due in full at the time of booking or class start.

  • All students must keep an active credit card on file. Unpaid fees or failed auto-pays may result in a hold on your account.

WAITLIST

  • If a class is full, join the waitlist. If added, you’ll receive a confirmation email or app notification.

  • If you can no longer attend, it’s your responsibility to remove yourself from the waitlist.

  • Usual cancellation policies apply if you’re added and don’t show up.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

  • Shoes Off — Please remove shoes at the front door. Our studio is a barefoot space.

  • Belongings — Store your items neatly in the cubbies so our entryway stays open and inviting.

  • Phones — Silence your phone and keep it in your bag during class.

  • Arriving on Time — Doors lock promptly at class start time. Please arrive early to settle in.

  • Leaving Early — Our open space makes mid-class exits disruptive, especially during Savasana. If you must leave, please inform the instructor first and exit quietly before savasana.

  • Mat & Prop Care — Wipe down studio mats with the studio spray and microfiber cloth after use. Please leave mats unrolled to air dry; a teacher will roll them up and put them away once dry. Props may be cleaned with the antibacterial wipes located in the back room.

  • Respect — Treat the space, instructors, and fellow students with kindness. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Lost & Found — Bind is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please check cubbies before leaving.

MINIMUM ATTENDANCE POLICY

Classes require a minimum of 2 participants to run. Booking in advance helps us plan and ensures classes are able to proceed as scheduled.

  • If fewer than 2 students are enrolled 2 hours before class start time, the class may be canceled.

  • If a class is canceled, enrolled students will be notified by email and/or text message at least 2 hours in advance.

  • If you are not enrolled in SMS notifications, please check your email prior to class.
